The Original Legend
Sandy Brown
At the heart of Legends is a rich legacy built by Sandy Brown. Sandy started Brown Engineering in 1980. He made groundbreaking contributions in pipeline drying and hydrotesting that set new standards. Today, his contributions remain influential in modern methods and equipment. His legacy is the driving force behind everything we do at Legends.
Throughout the Years

Brown Engineering Founded
Sandy formed Brown Engineering, a pipeline hydrotesting company based in Giddings, Texas, and servicing the infamous Austin Chalk Oil Boom.
2000
Brown Engineering Sold
Although Brown Engineering was sold in 2000, Tim and Charlie stayed on, with Charlie managing operations until 2005.
2010
Brown Integrity Founded
After years of experience in the industry, Charlie and Tim founded Brown Integrity.
2014
Brown Integrity Acquires PSI
To expand service offerings into the offshore pipeline market, Brown Integrity acquired PSI.
2021
Brown Engineering Closes
After 10 years of dedicated service, Brown Integrity closes its doors. Though this chapter ended, the impact remains, and we’re proud of where it brought us today.
